Here are a few hints to make your visit an even more pleasant one, plus a few house rules from your diligent librarians

Brandy Library accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

We offer a few choice tobacco selections to go with your favorite spirit, but keep in mind that smoking is permitted only at our outdoor hightop tables.

No drinks can be enjoyed outside after midnight in respect to the peace of our neighborhood.

Reservations are suggested. Especially on weekends, why not call ahead and guarantee a great seat? We can only accommodate groups not greater than 6.

For larger groups, please consider letting us play host to your party. We provide services for personal and corporate events anywhere from 8 to 80 guests.  For pricing and options, please email info@brandylibrary.com.

Brandy Library is the spot for expanding your ‘spiritual’ horizons. You’ll love attending a seminar in our next Spirit School session, and tastings are a great way to entertain friends, clients or business associates. School was never this much fun!

An automatic gratuity of 20% will be added to the bill for parties larger than 6 guests and to checks settled by split media.

Brandy Library has no dress code. However, please respect the beauty and elegance of your surroundings by refraining from removing your shoes, putting your feet on the furniture, or mistreating our property in any way.

As in any library, please avoid using loud and/or vulgar language and, though it does prove a challenge in our romantic setting, keep public displays of affection within the bounds of good taste.

While we do feature many rare, precious, and therefore expensive brandies, whiskies and rums, you’ll find that we encourage you to enjoy and perhaps discover the endless complexity and depth of our beautiful amber spirits by pricing them competitively.  We do reserve the right, however, to charge you an arm and a leg for a vodka soda! Our tap water is filtered and the ice is made of filtered water as well

What’s in a pour? In our exquisite “O” line of glasses from Riedel: 2 oz of golden deliciousness.  In a sexy Cocktail saucer: 4 oz of love.  In our red and white wine glasses: 6 oz of delicacy.

Our Beverage Director leads a team of “Librarians” (bartenders and servers) who earned their titles of Spirit Sommeliers through dedicated learning and passionate tastings: they will provide gentle guidance as you may be curious about what you see on the shelves.

Please drink responsibly, and please enjoy some of our wonderful cuisine, especially if you’ll be having more than one.
